MVVMA Day at the Zoo – Sunday, August 13, 2023 – First post-COVID social event

MVVMA members and their families attended a full day of zoo sights, a picnic lunch at the Water’s Edge Pavilion, and a Meet & Greet opportunity with Zoo residents. February 1, 2022 CE Meeting – Success Back in Person

It was wonderful to see so many members in person again for our Feb. 1 CE featuring Dr. Okonkowski from MedVet speaking about Addison’s and Leptospirosis. We had 41 in attendance. The boxed dinners were delicious and filling. We missed the few that had to cancel but appreciate their email notice and diligence to help keep everyone healthy.

MVVMA November Seminar, Sunday, November 10, 2019

Our November Seminar was well-received with good reviews from over 50 Veterinarians and 37 Vet Techs in attendance. Our Veterinary Speaker, Dr. Lorrie Gaschen, Louisiana State University, presented topics related to Radiology for a total of 7 CE Credits. Our Vet Tech Seminar speakers featured Abby Blubaugh and Danielle Hager, both of MedVet, speaking on topics related to Common Anesthetic Complications and Radiographic Techniques, Tips & Safety.
