Sinclair Community College
students are continuing to learn and give back to the community as they partner again with SICSA to provide dental cleanings to pets in need. During several scheduled labs held at SICSA this next semester, the 2025 graduating class will be providing dental cleanings under the supervision of their instructor and a SICSA practitioner. The animals are those identified by SICSA as being in need of a dental cleaning in order to increase their adoptability or their ability to stay in their home as a healthy pet. In addition, students will be participating in at least one Spay/Neuter clinic using Sinclair’s Mobile Clinic in order to increase their anesthesia and surgical skills prior to graduating from the program in early May.
Do you have a veterinary technician graduate that has not passed the VTNE? If they would like to be included in Sinclair’s online subscription for Vet Tech Prep course at a reduced cost, please contact the department email vettech@sinclair.edu for more information.
